Often, in part. Many PPO plans pay toward pieces of implant treatment, such as extractions or the final teeth, up to your annual maximum. Unlike corporate implant centers that refuse insurance, we use your PPO or retiree benefits to lower your cost, and we verify your coverage before treatment so you know your out-of-pocket number upfront. Yes, the teeth are really same-day. Surgery is a single appointment, typically 4 to 5 hours under IV sedation, and you leave that day with a full set of fixed teeth. That is what people mean by teeth in a day or same-day teeth. You then heal for about three months while the implants fuse with the bone, and your final custom Zirconia arch is placed once healing is complete. See the All-on-X process, step by step.
You should not feel pain during the procedure. We numb the area fully and offer sedation up to full IV sedation, so most All-on-4 patients sleep through the appointment and remember very little of it. Afterwards, expect a few days of swelling and soreness, managed with the medication we prescribe. Most single-implant patients tell us it was easier than a tooth extraction.
